We took a whale watching cruise up the east coast of Baja California in February. It was unusual to seen landscape that looks like our home in Arizona, but with the blue Sea of Cortez and white, sandy beaches. We saw whales every day, which we will show in a future post.
In addition to whales, we often saw dolphins. They were playful and approach our small ship, which held about 50 passengers.
This upside down puffer fish was floating in the water, as artistic as it was when he was alive.
The colorful sunsets of the desert southwest were captured in the gentle ripples of the sea.
Spectacular sunsets every evening were a relaxing way to end busy days of snorkeling and watching wildlife, including grey whales, blue shales, and humpback whales.
