Photos: The Reflections of the Grand Canyon

ADS1
My river raft trip through the Grand Canyon occurred in May of this year, at the same time as a "super moon" that was unusually close to the earth and, therefore, large in the sky.  At the bottom of the canyou it is impossible to see the moon rise, of course, because we could see the moon only when it was clear of the canyon rim, one mile above us.
I liked taking photos of the reflection of the water in the canyon.  The aqua-marine color of the water mixed with the red reflections of the canyon wall  on the water to create this unusual effect.
There were lots of lizards clinging to the rocks in the depths of the Grand Canyon.  I prefer them to their cousins, the rattlesnakes, that we also saw.
The water varied from green, to blue, to muddy red, to thereflected color of the gray or red canyon walls depending on the particular spot on our 220 mile (350 km) raft journey through the canyon.
The still water in this tributary of the canyon provides a window reflecting the canyon walls above.
