River rafting through the Grand Canyon provides glimpses of the rim of the inner gorge, looking up through countless side slot canyons. The Grand Canyon is 5 times deeper than the walls of the inner gorge that line the river.

It was a pleasure to meet new friends on the trip, several of whom were repeating the Grand Canyon photo tour with Visionary Wild. This is a glimpse down a narrow slot canyon to the main waters of the Colorado River. You can see a hint of the menthol blue waters of the tributary.

The menthol blue waters of Havasu Creek that lead away from Havasu Falls on the Havasupai Tribal Lands are magical. One of these years Dave and I want to hike down to Havasu Falls.
